  • Flexible partners

How to do it

  1. Lay a thick mat or folded duvet on the floor and agree on a stop signal before you begin.

  2. Giver: kneel tall on the mat, with enough space for the receiver to plant their hands in front.

  3. Receiver: place your hands on the floor beside the giver's knees and kick up one leg at a time.

  4. Giver: catch the legs over your shoulders and grip the receiver's hips firmly.

  5. Come down slowly, one leg at a time, once the arms or wrists start to tire.

Tips

  • Skip this one with wrist, shoulder, neck, or back trouble.
  • Keep a spotter close or a mound of pillows within reach, and never let the receiver drop.
  • Warm up the wrists and shoulders first, and keep each attempt brief.
