Privacy policy.

The short version

  • Your logbook is private. Only your account can read what you put in it.
  • We don't sell your data, show ads, or share your entries with anyone.
  • We store what you type in and the minimum needed to sign you in. Nothing else.
  • You can delete your account and everything in it yourself, at any time, from Settings.

1. Who we are

sexlogbook.com is run by the operator of sexlogbook.com (“we”, “us”). For anything about your data, write to support@sexlogbook.com.

2. What we store

Only what is needed to run your logbook:

  • Your account: your email address and, if you use one, a password (stored as a hash we cannot read). If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and Google account ID from Google.
  • Your entries: everything you log, including dates, types, positions, ratings, counts, protection, tags, toys, notes and the other details you choose to add.
  • Your partners: the names or nicknames, optional details, and optional photo you add about other people.
  • Your settings: units, discreet mode choices, your position marks, and a PIN if you set one (stored as a hash).
  • Confirmation that you are an adult, with the time you confirmed it.

We do not ask for your real name, address, phone number or payment details.

3. Sensitive information

A sex diary is about as personal as data gets, and information about someone's sex life is specially protected under laws such as the GDPR. We store it only because you choose to enter it, and only to show it back to you. By using the logbook you ask us to do that.

You can stop at any time by deleting your account, which removes all of it.

4. Information about other people

Partners you add have not signed up, so be considerate: use a nickname if a name would identify them, add only details you are comfortable keeping, and only upload a photo you have the right to use. Their details are visible to your account alone and are deleted when you delete the partner or your account.

5. How we use it

  • To show you your logbook, calendar and stats.
  • To sign you in and keep your account secure.
  • To send the emails you ask for, such as sign-in links and email confirmation.

That is all. We do not use your entries for advertising, profiling, or training AI models, and we do not read them.

6. Who else handles it

We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They process data on our behalf and cannot use it for their own purposes:

  • Supabase hosts the database and handles sign-in.
  • Vercel hosts the website.
  • Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.

We do not sell or rent your data. We would disclose it only if the law required us to, and we would tell you unless legally barred.

7. How it is protected

Every row in the database is locked to the account that created it, so one account cannot read another's data. Connections are encrypted in transit and the database is encrypted at rest.

No system is perfectly secure. Discreet mode and the PIN lock protect a signed-in device from people around you; they are not a substitute for a strong password on your account and your email.

8. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember that you have unlocked the logbook with your PIN. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.

9. How long we keep it

Until you delete it. Deleting an entry, partner or toy removes it immediately. “Delete everything” in Settings removes your account and all of its data from the live database at once; any backups held by our hosting provider expire on their normal schedule.

10. Your rights

You can see and correct everything you have stored by signing in, and delete it all from Settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to object to how it is used, or to complain to your data protection authority.

To use any of these rights, write to support@sexlogbook.com.

11. Adults only

Sex Logbook is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly keep data from anyone younger, and will delete an account if we learn it belongs to a minor.

12. Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and, for significant changes, by email before they take effect. See also our terms.
