How to do it
Giver, sit upright on a firm cushion or low step with your legs crossed or bent in front.
Receiver, lie on your back with your head toward the giver's feet and your arms flat at your sides.
Lift your hips and slide them into the giver's lap, draping your legs around the giver's waist.
Giver, hold the receiver's hips or lower back and guide slow, rocking strokes.
Tips
- Giver, a firm seat matters more than a high one.
- Receiver, press your shoulders and feet into the floor to hold the lift for longer.
- Lower down for a break whenever the hips or lower back tire.
