  • Flexible partners
  • Strong partners

How to do it

  1. Spread a thick mat or folded duvet on the floor and agree on a stop signal before you begin.

  2. Giver: kneel tall on the mat, with plenty of clear space behind you.

  3. Receiver: lie back with your hips against the giver's thighs and plant your hands on the floor beside your head.

  4. Press up into a deep arch while the giver slides their hands under your hips and lifts you toward their face.

  5. Giver: lower the receiver slowly and smoothly the moment either of you says stop.

Tips

  • Skip this one if either of you has wrist, shoulder, neck, or back trouble.
  • Keep a spotter or a big pile of cushions nearby, and never drop the receiver in a rush.
  • Keep holds short and come down slowly, because the head rush builds fast.
