How to do it
Sit at the edge of the bed, then lie back so your shoulders rest on the mattress and your hips stay near the edge.
Plant your feet flat on the ground, about hip-width apart.
Press down through your feet to tilt and lift your hips as much as you like.
Reach down with one hand and let the other wander wherever it wants.
Tips
- Check that the bed is steady and will not slide before you lean back.
- Slide a little farther onto the bed if your lower back feels arched.
- Set a pillow under your head so your neck stays relaxed.
