Good for

  • Out of bed
  • Hands free to roam

How to do it

  1. Kneel on a folded blanket or soft rug with your knees about hip-width apart.

  2. Rise tall so your hips stack over your knees and your back stays long.

  3. Reach one hand down in front and rest the other on your chest or thigh.

  4. Rock your hips forward and back or in slow circles, then sink back and rest when you need a break.

Tips

  • A folded towel or cushion under your knees makes this much more comfortable.
  • Spread your knees a little wider if you want more freedom in your hips.
  • Skip this one if your knees are sore, or try a softer surface first.
