How to do it

  1. Giver lies on their side with legs slightly bent.

  2. Receiver lies on their side at a right angle to the giver, hips pressed to the giver's front.

  3. Receiver bends both knees and crosses the ankles, tucking the legs in.

  4. Giver holds the receiver's hips and rocks gently, shuffling until the fit feels right.

Tips

  • Add a pillow under the receiver's head, since they will be off the main one.
  • Spend a minute finding the fit and laugh about the shuffling.
  • Move in small motions and talk as you go.
