How to do it
Spread a thick mat on the floor and agree on a stop signal.
Base partner: kneel tall on the mat, with plenty of room behind you.
Lifted partner: stand facing the base, fold forward, and wrap your arms around their thighs.
Base partner: grip the lifted partner's thighs and lift as their legs walk up and stretch upward.
Lower the lifted partner slowly to the mat when either of you says stop.
Tips
- Skip this one with neck, back, or blood pressure trouble, and have a spotter nearby.
- Lifted partner: keep your core tight and your arms locked around the base.
- Never drop the lifted partner suddenly, and come down at the first wobble.
